Fitness tips: How to make your workout effective

When it comes to your fitness planning, what comes to your mind? Where would you train, how would you train, with who would you train, what would you need? What would you wear? Right?

Planning for a new adventure is always fun. Would you need a personal trainer or would you make your own training program? What would you like to accomplish? If you want to get back on track with your sporty life you might be thinking, which training program would you be doing. How can you make your workout effective in time and technique. Which tips are you picking up from the fitness magazines or your gym goer friend?

You might have a concept, you might have an idea, you might have a goal in the head already. The question is is that concept aligned with your body and health?

Here is a list of fitness tips that you must take in account when you start your new fitness adventure: a program, a fitness studio membership or a fitness goals.

SET YOUR FITNESS GOALS

Choosing what you want to do with your body is the first step. Most of the clients do not know or want it all. Deciding  what is important for you will make your workout effective. You will be walking the direction you want to reach your goals. If you have a long list of goals, like mime right now, it could be managed or reached by phases, steps.

These goals that I just wrote are the basic and more popular. Each of them have a different way to approach, to plan, to execute, to follow and to train.

CHOOSE YOUR SET AND REPETITIONS

Know your level of fitness, find out how strong are you, how good you know the technique and choose according to your fitness goal; weight loss, fat loss, aesthetics, competitions or health.

WARM UP AND COOL DOWN

Before any physical activity make sure your elevate your body temperature, your joints warm up. Go from general to specific. At the end of your workout cool down, do some stretching, give time to the body to go back to normal before you leave the gym or the training space.

MAKE SUPERSET CIRCUITS

I love to do superset circuits when I am short on time and need to speed up my training program. Pair up 2 exercises for the same muscle group with no rest between exercise.
